i am the mother of two elementary school aged children who (most days) amuse and delight me and make me appreciate all of the little things in our life and surroundings. i'm an obsessive doodler, i tend to drink too much coffee, and i am a little bit addicted to flickr. in 2007 i quit my job of many years in womens healthcare to work on making art as my livelihood. i am making a modest living at it now, and i am really happy about that.

i love patterns, paper, the many lovely forms i see in my coastal surroundings each day, fancy pens, shades of gray, letterpressed things, independent artists, vintage stitch books, mid century modernism... there is an interview here that might tell you more if you're interested.
