About Me

i am the mother of two elementary school aged children who (most days) amuse and delight me and make me appreciate all of the little things in our life and surroundings. i'm an obsessive doodler, i have a few really great friends i'd lie down in front of a train for, i tend to drink too much coffee, and i am a little bit addicted to flickr. last year i quit my job of many years in womens healthcare to work on making art. i am making a modest living at it now, and i am really, really happy about that.

i love patterns, paper, the many lovely forms i see in my coastal surroundings each day, fancy pens, shades of gray, letterpressed things, independent artists, and birds...just to name a few things. i would like to be first in line at a yardsale chock full of catherine holm stuff to start to round out my tiny collection.
