i am a huge, huge gillian welch fan, so you can imagine my squeal of happiness when she finally came out with some new music today! what a great album. (does that totally date me, saying 'album'? jeez. what is the proper vernacular these days?) you can listen to it at npr here. i am slow to buy music lately unless i really love it, but i bought this one right away. so good.
