i am excited to share a few things i worked on earlier this year. the first is a papercut cover for kari chapin's second book, grow your handmade business, which will be coming out next summer. this was a really exciting project for me, because kari is someone quite dear to my heart. back in 2007 when i did renegade craft fair in brooklyn for the first time, kari was one of the first people to come in to my booth. she was kind and encouraging and she slightly decreased the terror i felt doing my first craft show. it's been fun to watch her success - and to see her write books and travel around the country giving advice on working in our handmade world. this book will be published by storey publishing, and i am at work on some interior illustrations now.
i also did a papercut for storey publishing's spring 2012 catalog cover. they've been great to work with, and i feel really lucky.
