timberland patterns

i made some patterns for timberland awhile ago and was excited to see them online for the first time this morning. they're on a few bags and a bunch of ladies shoes. i think i might get myself a new backpack for the first time in ages.

i am sorry to have been gone from this space for so long. we took a trip to south carolina for the kids' winter vacation, which was lovely as always. i find myself increasingly smitten with live oaks every time we visit my dad! they're harder to draw than you might think, but i've been trying.

 

MTA arts for transit poster

i'm excited to be able to share this here - last year i was asked to make a poster for the NYC MTA arts for transit program.  it will be up in the subway later this year for about four months. this was such a fun (and slightly intimidating) project to work on. the poster is really large - roughly 45"x30". mta arts sent me some extra posters, so if you'd like one, please leave a comment here between now and sunday at midnight EST - i'll draw three names and send them out next week. because of the size of these, i can only offer this giveaway to those with US addresses - sorry! you can also purchase them directly from MTA arts here.

 

paper flower gift card at target

i've had some fun projects this past year, and one of my favorites was a papercut gift card and mailer i was asked to design for target. the kids and i went to our local (one hour away!) target store yesterday and there it was! it was pretty exciting to see it in person. i am super happy with how it turned out, and  especially pleased with the embossed mailer. i love it!

if you happen to go looking for one, they're at the end of the aisles in bedding and small appliances (i think.)

it was fun to look back on the in progress photos from last summer and see how the project evolved from then to now.
